At Claeyssens and Couckuyt Experts, we are proud to have successfully participated in the VOKA Charter for Sustainable Business (VCDO) for the fourth time. This achievement has earned us recognition as an SDG Pioneer, reflecting our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
The VOKA Charter for Sustainable Business is an initiative by VOKA that supports companies in integrating sustainability into their business DNA and achieving their sustainability goals. Through tailored action plans, it promotes responsible business practices where profitability goes hand in hand with social and environmental responsibility.
Being recognized as an SDG Pioneer by the VOKA Charter for Sustainable Business underscores our commitment to creating a positive impact on both society and the environment. We remain dedicated to embedding sustainability across all our business operations and look forward to a future where we continue to achieve our sustainability goals while contributing to a better world.
Professional ethics and standards
At Claeyssens and Couckuyt Experts, we place the highest importance on professional ethics and the consistent application of rigorous standards. Our commitment to integrity is reinforced by our certifications with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), TEGOVA (The European Group of Valuers’ Associations) and the Flemish Tax Authority for inheritance valuation, as well as by our strict adherence to the code of ethics governing land surveyor-experts.
RICS is a globally recognized institution that sets and upholds standards designed to protect both consumers and businesses. Its mission is to ensure the highest levels of professionalism, with a strong focus on ethics, competence, and continuous professional development.
TEGOVA is a leading European organization dedicated to standardizing and harmonizing valuation practices. As certified members, we adhere to the European Valuation Standards (EVS), which guarantee excellence and ethical rigor in real estate valuations.
Our land surveyor-experts follow a strict code of ethics that emphasizes integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality. This ensures that we always act in the best interests of our clients and society as a whole. At Claeyssens and Couckuyt Experts, ethics form the cornerstone of our practice. We are committed to transparency, fairness, and the highest quality standards in everything we do.
Digital innovation and IT security
At Claeyssens and Couckuyt Experts, we fully embrace digital innovation and place the highest priority on IT security. To further strengthen our resilience, we are currently implementing NIS2-compliant security systems.
The NIS2-directive is a European Union regulation designed to enhance cybersecurity and the resilience of essential services across member states. It builds on the original NIS Directive by expanding its scope and introducing stricter security requirements and incident reporting obligations.
Our commitment to digital innovation ensures that we can continue to serve our clients effectively in an increasingly digital world. At the same time, safeguarding digital security remains a core priority, allowing us to guarantee discretion and confidentiality at all times.
ESF project ‘drive – towards sustainable work’
In 2020, Claeyssens and Couckuyt Experts successfully took part in the ESF project ‘Drive – Towards Sustainable Work’. Supported by the European Social Fund, this initiative aims to promote sustainable and meaningful employment within organizations. With the guidance of professional service provider GrowForIt, we embarked on a structured program to strengthen our HR processes and enhance workplace sustainability.
The project’s primary objective was to create sustainable working conditions while optimizing HR practices. This involved increasing employee satisfaction and efficiency. Through targeted strategies, we significantly improved staff engagement, which in turn enhanced internal workflows and boosted productivity.
The results of this project are clearly evident across our organization. Employee satisfaction and commitment have grown substantially, contributing to a more positive and productive work environment. At the same time, our internal processes and workflows have been streamlined, delivering higher efficiency and output.
Thanks to the ESF project, we are able to further our mission of building a sustainable and supportive workplace. We remain dedicated to continuously improving working conditions and HR processes, creating an environment that promotes both the well-being and professional growth of our employees. This commitment not only benefits our teams but also our clients, who experience the advantages of a motivated, engaged, and high-performing organization.
